A brief description of Rose Festival in Kelaa-des-M'Gouna :

For those who love breathtaking landscapes, roses and wonderful smells , Roses festival is a perfect choice. Held in May of each year ( the first week ) in the town of Kelaa-des-M'gouna Morocco's roses valley and the area of the vast distilling plant that transformed into rose-water is a natural product with hundreds of components.The celebration of roses harvest season offers a unique opportunity to enjoy rural life,a colourful souk springs up along El kelaa's streets, music, dancing and the election of Rose Queen.

05 May : Marrakech - Kelaa des M'gouna
Depart to Ouarzazate over the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi N'tichka Pass. On the side of the mountains you will see traditional Berber villages and evergreen farms.Continue via through Skoura where you will visit a mud-brick Kasbah Amredil.Arrive Kelaa des M'gouna Morocco's rose capital. Accommodation in hotel located near the roses valley.

06 May : Kelaa des M'Gouna - Todra Gorges 
Splurge yourself for a while in the unique ambiance of the Rose Festival,before carrying on the road to Todra Gorges through an off the beaten track road,take a moment to appreciate the tranquility of the mountains populated by nomads, then continue along Dades valley.In the evening you will arrive Todra Gorges.Accommodation in hotel located in the heart of the Gorges.

07 May : Todra Gorges - Merzouga
After breakfast hike little bit and explore on your own the impressive Gorges,before heading Merzouga where Morocco's unique dunes. Its here that you will start a camel trip into the middle of the dunes for an overnight camp.

08 May : Merzouga - Ouarzazate
You will wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise over the dunes and for sand climbs .Have your breakfast before driving little further to Ouarzazate through Rissani one of the oldest cities in Morocco,and the capital of density Alaouit, this spot was centuries ago a very busy commercial trade centre sun-sahararan African and to the North. Continue through the beautiful Draa valley. Keep your eyes open for old Kasbahs and fortified villages, continue to Agdz its a town of typically small houses.In Ouarzazate check into the hotel.

09 May : Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Drive back to Marrakech through Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah it is a UNESCO World heritage site and where several movies were filmed like ; " Lawarance of Arabia " , '' Gladiator " ," Babel " and '' Tea in the Sahara ".Continue to Marrakech via Tizi N'tichka Pass. Arrive Marrakech and check into the hotel.
